Hello Becky,
two months ago I promised to try to ask a (now retired) genealogist friend of mine to send me a photo of a gravestone in Altbeba cemetery, which he had taken a couple of years ago, and which showed the name of a man with the surname MICȘA.
My friend has now retrieved it from his old collection and sent me the attached two photos taken in 2019. The translation of the inscription on the gravestone (in Romanian) is as follows:
Here rests my beloved husband GEORGE MICȘA, born in 1907, died in 1978.
From America I went
back to my village.
I came because I wanted to see you,
but death met me.
I died,
all is sorrow and sadness.
Sofia, my wife
you will go to America,
where you will live with sadness.
I rest in this grave
where my parents are buried.
Sofia, my wife weeps for me,
together with Lina, my sister and my brother-in-law and my nieces.
May the earth rest lightly on you!
I do not know if this information will bring you closer to identifying your ancestor. Of course, it is not certain whether this MICȘA family is the same as your ancestor's MIKSA/MISKA/MISKO family, but you never know...
I wish you good luck,
Tibor
