Yes, there are later records and also a Family Book by Karen Dalton Preston and David Dreyer that covers the period up to 1943.

Hi Michele,it depends on the municipality/settlement. In the Romanian county archives, you can photograph and research church books (if they have survived) going back a hundred years (i.e. to 1923)....
