Dear colleagues, I tryed to solve a Banat marriage, done before a documented marriage in Philadelphia (21.FEB.1923) with Nicolaus Noell from Bogarosch. This second marriage of Phila is nicely documented, but shows a first husband as Karl Jansitsz, born 1 March, 1867, Vinga (says family book Saderlach, fam 1.514, 1.515.5) and his parents as Karl Jansitsz sen. & Katharina Seicht. Katharina Minich (Münich) is born 20 JAN 1873 in Perjamos (churchbook, or familybook M567.9). I was able to find an early child, being Georg, *4 OCT.1889, Perjamos, +29 JAN. 1892 Saderlach (see familybook Perj, M577).
So far, I was unable to find this first marriage with Karl and his death; as well as her migration to the US. In her census record 1930 she states as being migrated by 1912 to Philadelphia. Her nationalisation does not help, since she was just mentioned, when her second husband, Nicolaus Noell, went for nationalisation in 1926.
Is there anybody around, who has a clue for this young family Katharina Minich & Karl Jansitsz, probably living in Perjamos or Saderlach between about 1890 and 1912.
Thank you in advance for any hints and with by best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a peacefully 2025
