Good evening, everyone.
My name is Adrian IANTO and I am writing this e-mail from Timisoara, Romania.
I am contacting this group because I have started my family tree search last year, and, I found some ancestors who were from Deutsch-Zerne (Nemet-Czernya).
These ancestors were ethnic hungarians, and, at the time of my g-g-g-mother's birth (1849), were residents of what I understood to be a small farm (or something similar) called Ser-haz.
Here is the birth register for my ancestor, her name was Gulyas Klara Karolina: https://maticneknjige.org.rs/mk/maticne-knjige-srpska-crnja-1849-rimokatolici-krsteni/
I searched for the marriage of her parents, Gulyas/Gujas Pal and Dorombes Ilona, but, the search ended up being in vain in the Deusch-Zerne parish, as I later found out, with the help of some researchers on Discord, that they actually married in the Gertianosch (Carpinis) parish, in the year 1846: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS6C-Q4BS?personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A6NSY-2M5S
They were residents of Tomsdorf/Tamasfalva at the time, which I understood was also under the administration of Deutsch-Czerne.In 1860, they already lived in Magyarcsernye/Neu-Zerne, and Klara Karolina moved to Magyarszentmarton sometime before 1870, where she also died, in 1892.There was no trace of the parents' deaths in the registers of the parish of Magyarszentmarton, until the year 1908.
Gulyas Pal was from Csosztelek/Neuhatzfeld, and Dorombes Ilona was from Magyar-Czernye/Neuzerne.
With the help of another gentleman, I received the following information, which was written in the OFB Deutsch-Zerne:
"GULYAS Paul, Diener from DZ/ Serhaz filialis oo DOROMBOS Juliana from DZ/Serhaz filialis
Children : 1 Klara Carolina * 03.06.1849 in DZ /Serhaz filialis
2 Agnes Helena *19.01.1852 in DZ".
Children : 1 Klara Carolina * 03.06.1849 in DZ /Serhaz filialis
2 Agnes Helena *19.01.1852 in DZ".
Would anyone be willing to search more thoroughly in the Familienbuch of Deutsch-Zerne for these individuals? I sadly do not have acess to the book, and I would be thankful if someone could see if it is possible to find out even more about these people, as I wish to search even further back (And I sadly could not find their births in their birth villages).
Thank you.
Best regards,
Adrian Ianto
