My great grandfather, Anton Kampf was born Dec 24, 1865 in Deutsch-Zerne, died in Hatzfeld in Dec 1935. I've attached a picture of the headstone but unsure of some of the other dates on there or the words. His parents were Anna Zeimetz (born 1836) and Johann Kampf (born 1836). He married Theresia Kuhn (born 1875 in Hatzfeld), the second marriage for both of them. I believe they grew up in Hatzfeld. They went to Cuba in 1927 and returned to Hatzfeld in 1933.
I can't find any information on Anton Kampf or his first wife and children. I'm fairly certain he had a son, Friedrich Kampf (birth and death date unknown) with his first wife. Friedrich's wife was Ilonka and they had 2 daughters, Mariska and Anni. In 1923 they were in Kikinda, in 1933 Lugos and in 1960 Chicago, Illinois (no idea when they immigrated to the US).
I'm specifically looking for any information on Anton Kampf, his first wife and their children, specifically Friedrich Kampf.
