Thank you so much for that information...I knew someone on this list would know the answer. I've tried for years to secure a copy of that book without success, even if there were no family members in the book, only for the fact that the author shared his name with my father.

Nikolaus Schauermann was not born in Lovrin. On the page opposite the title is a dedication to the author which says “Nikolaus Schauermann, teacher, born Sarafol 02.10.1920, died Karlsruhe (Germany) 25.07.2003. And there are no SCHAUERMANN families the book! He may have had a connection to Lovrin through his mother’s family.
