Greetings,
My father, John Brettrager, was born in Romania and came to the United States as a child. He spoke fondly of his early years in Romania. As an adult, he was naturalized as a United States citizen, and it seems this revoked his Romanian citizenship. I recently read that Romanian citizenship may be able to be reinstated for children and even grandchildren. I think it would be wonderful to become a Romanian citizen.
I’m curious if anyone has gone through this process of gaining Romanian citizenship. Did you do the process yourself or have someone in Romania help you? After doing some preliminary research, it seems to be quite a daunting process! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Cheers!
