Thank you so much for taking the time to do the look-up forme. Using it as a guide, I looked at theactual records that were on Family Search. I still was unable to find my Peter and his family. I also checked out the churchbook records forTAKACS ALEXANDER who was supposed to have been born in Etschka in 1799, but hewas not shown there. The searchcontinues.
Since all I have to go by at this point is the marriagerecord of Peter Takacs/Takats and Joanna Klemens, whose parents are also amystery, I took a look back at it to seewho Peter’s witness was at their wedding. His witness was a fellow named Antonius Kostika/Kostiha/Kootika/Kootiha,and that is definitely not a Darowa surname. That surname might be another clue to follow.
