In the marriage record of my GGG grandparents blacksmith Peter Takacs/Takats/Takasch to Joanna Klemens/Clemens, Peter is listed as colebs from “Darok Sz. György”which I believe might be Sankt Georgen an der Bega inwhat was then known as the Yugoslavian Banat - nowŽitište, ProvinceVojavina, in Serbia. Since “T” and “D”are often interchanged, probably Darok refers to Torak/Torac . I would like to know if there is any evidence of people with the same surname as his there.
