Colleagues, When counterchecking my tree entries around the huge Ziwey (Czivay, Ziehwein,..) family (from Moravia in today CZ, via Vertesboglar, Grabatz and especially Stefansfeld) I did run into a few confusions. There is the AVBF OFB 1796-1945 by Hans Awender, which tried to figure out the family relations of the numerous Ziwey in Stefansfeld after their arrival around 1800. In these years, the churchbook entries showed few information. Hans Awender (well recognised by HOA Stefansfeld and Josef Ziwey, their first Pres.) made a huge job. However, and given actual research since release in 1998, I wonder if anybody did countercheck on these presented family connections (between parents, their children and especially related marriages of them). When checking CompGen for related additional info, no Ziwey is mentioned so far. Has the CD version, released by Liane Falzboden related upgrades or is it a 100% copy of the printed version.
Are there any further coments on Ziweys from Stefansfeld in the comunity, being not fully in line with the familybook.
