Glenn,
Are there records for Nitzkydorf for 1806? My great-great grandfather Georgius Schwartz was born there--supposedly in 1806 according to a death record stating buried in Cseney on 18 November 1871.

We now have some Nitzkydorf church records that might help you. Unfortunately, they do not completely cover the time you want. If you want them, contact me before you send money.

As by Dave Dreyer, there was a George Sors, who was a passenger on board the SS Koeln from Bremen to Baltimore, arrival APR 2 1909. He was born in Nitzkydorf, about 1864 and married to Katharina. He was riding to his bro-in-law Johann Hupfl. So far I am not able to connect and identify this Johann (as Johann is quite usual). Hopefully with more details on the family of George and his wife, I might be able to connect.Thank you in advance for any tip and findingsRudolf Huepfl, Vienna, Austria
